Justice For Brighton is supporting a slate of three (3) candidates for Brighton Democratic Committee in the 15th Election District: Amy Toric, Julie Gelfand, and Stephen Piper. All live in the neighborhood. Julie is an artist and activist who joined the Committee two years ago. Steve and Amy, a professional songwriter and musician and medical lab scientist, respectively, are longtime Brighton residents who decided to join the Committee to be more involved in the life and well-being of their community.

The other three candidates in ED15 are being supported by the Friends of Brighton Democrats multi-candidate committee: Andrew Parisi, Michael Rothenberg, and Beverly Wing were petitioned on by ED18 candidates Clara Sanguinetti and Town Councilmember Nate Salzman on April 2, 2024, two days before the end of the petitioning period. Andrew, Mr. Salzman’s brother-in-law, has been on the Committee since 2020, but has attended few, if any meetings; Mr. Rothenberg is new to the Committee.
